Book 2/6 of The Bonds That Tie Series
In this book Oli has finally showed her bonds she has power. She has had to let her bond come out to play which previously she had to suppress her bond to such a point that it was undetectable. In this book we find out that a bond is really another personality co-inhabiting her body, and how her and her bonds deal with that.
While every book in the series is about all of Oli’s bonds and their development is there, this book really focuses in on Oli and gryphon and how Oli and her bonds deal with the minefield that is her bond. It is quirky and volatile to say the least. She kept it pinned up for so long it is now wanting to come out and play.
I really enjoyed this book. The angst that was in the first book starts to die down, it doesn’t go away but it’s less for sure. They start to get to know each other and we do as well. The fight with the resistance starts to ramp up and the action starts to really start. I love the problem solving and the way the bonds really play with each other. how they are really their own entities.
